So... What exactly is glacier silt?

It's one of the finest natural exfoliants found in Alaska.

Over thousands of years, glaciers slowly grind rock into an incredibly fine mineral-rich powder.

It's not mud and it's not sand. Silt is actually its own category, so fine it stays suspended in glacial meltwater instead of settling. It's the same reason glacial rivers and lakes here in Alaska glow that famous milky turquoise.

That beautiful, silky texture is what makes our Glacier Glow soap such a unique part of our skincare line.

And because we get to collect this powerhouse material ourselves from one of our favorite Alaskan destinations, it's one of our favorite soaps to make.

In the coming weeks, we'll be adjusting our shipping options to better reflect those costs.

We'll still offer a free shipping option.

The tradeoff is that it may take a little longer to arrive. Ground shipping from Alaska can take around three weeks depending on your location.
